A genuine original vintage Hornsea Pottery 'Contrast' tea and coffee set, marked Lancaster Vitramic and dated 1978; a collectible piece of Mid-Century Modern British stoneware in matte brown and white, not a reproduction.

Designed for six people, the set includes six cups, six saucers and six side/cake plates, together with a lidded sugar bowl. The sugar bowl consists of two separate pieces, giving a total of 19 individual pieces (6 cups + 6 saucers + 6 plates + sugar bowl body + lid).
