An impressive 19th-century French porcelain covered urn featuring a vibrant Bleu Céleste (heavenly blue) ground, rich gilt decoration and hand-painted reserves. The piece combines finely decorated porcelain with elaborate gilt-bronze (ormolu) mounts, creating a striking display piece for a mantelpiece or cabinet.
